In response to the healthcare needs brought about by an aging population, the cooperation between medical services and the community has become increasingly urgent. To align with the regional primary healthcare service policies and respond to societal needs, The Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong established Health Care professions department in early 2020, which includes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, sports therapy, sports rehabilitation, and speech therapy. In 2022, the services were further expanded with the establishment of the Kei Yau Integrated Medical Centre.
